He Shouted From The Distance Poem by Emmanuel George Cefai

He Shouted From The Distance

Then he disappeared
For he was running

Away! Away! The azure diamond
On its feet tiptoes
Toad that bears topazes

Twinkling of a hedgehog
A glow worm rising
On its tiny feet

A panda crossed the road.
A squirrel shot an orange
Color and left
The traces of his pacers in the dust
Of country roads.

We
Humans not only we
Even these
The animals
The plants
Even these
