He Sits Poem by Leslie Alexis

He Sits

He sits
Balancing the world
And all my worries.
He sits
Counting the stars
Gathering my fallen hairs,
He sits
Causing flowers to bloom
And directing birds in song.
He sits
Stringing the colors of rainbows
And tilting moons and seasons.
He sits
Doing all of this
Just for me.
He sits
Waiting for me,
To acknowledge him.
