Healing Kiss Poem by Kingsley Egbukole

Healing Kiss

Like a purling stream gentle
And the snail slow
Soft like baby jelly
Yet sweet as honey
Is the healing kiss

Two paired lids parted
Reveal the tease sponges
Which touch and interlock
In sensuous embrace
Where wisdom is outlawed

The nutrient diffuse on contact
And the blood is poisoned
Wavelike currents meanders the neurons
The brain receives, interprets and directs
The heart then melts
As numerous maggots
Wriggles every nook
Nuts are loosened and oiled
Taut muscles relax
Smiles overthrow frowns
As laboured breath expel anger
And lost love is restored
Through a healing kiss.
