Mind: Here we go again! Over and over I’ve tried to talk you out of longing for your desires. This right here is a good place. You love him he loves you back. Why are you trippin?



Heart: What about my desires?



Mind: Hold up! Remember the last time we followed you and your desires? You ended up broken! Who had to help you pick up the pieces? Me!



Heart: Look at me, I’m stronger now!



Mind: Oh really? You don’t know what’s best for you, I really hate to keep bringing up the past…..but



Heart: Wait now! It’s not all my fault. You’re the one that shuts down when I “fall” in love.



Mind: I hate you!



Heart: I love you!



Mind: You’d love everybody if I let you!



Heart: I would?



Mind: Listen, I mean feel, can you feel what I’m saying. He loves you, he accepts you, he gives you the freedom to express your love the way you need to.



Heart: I feel you, I feel you but you know it won’t last right? I’m saying sooner or later it won’t be enough, I’ll want more and you know how I am.



Mind: You RUIN everything! Always trying to take over! I keep things in perspective! So you need to take your “ desires” and shove them aside so I can do what I need to do.



Heart: Don’t say I didn’t warn you!
