Heaven's Light
Lost in thought & then I found
a glowing light was all around
Sunset pinks set the stage
as angels danced across the page
The colours fade to a purple haze
as out the window I just gaze
Heaven was putting on a show
a gentle reminder to take it slow
A whisper, just be still today
Enjoy the peace, we heard you pray
Remember as day flows into night
Change must come, all is right

In our daily lives we get side tracked by the normal daily running of life, and then something catches our eye, a falling leaf in the wind, sunbeams, stars, an ocean wave or even the smile on a young childs face and we gain back the significance of all around us. Those few minutes are priceless and full of wonder. your poem catches this, a worthy ten Chris
