Heaven Sent Poem by the Nickster

Heaven Sent

The sun has set & tiny stars are shining brightly
As I tried to imagine just who I was precisely
I looked pass the physical-brown eyes and skin color
I noticed instantaneously the perseverance of another
The more I searched within myself decreased the initial strain
For I recalled in bad times, wisdom was my gain
Then determination complemented my inner glow
A hint of dedication assisted in the flow
Patient, stubborn, and confident yet echoed through my mind
I realized I was an entity-part of all mankind
I am a reproduction of others
I am...what I've seen through the heart of my dear Mother.
