Heavy Beauty Poem by Vera Sidhwa

Heavy Beauty

She loved him so, she took everything,
That belonged to her and gave it to him,
Even her set of encyclopedias,
Oh, what a heavy beauty.

She cried all day, if something went wrong with him.
She sobbed all afternoon, if something happened to him.
Her heart was woven with his love.
She was woven into him.

Her love for him was kind.
It was one of a kind.
It was a heavy love.
She was a heavy beauty.
