Hedge Poem by Vera Sidhwa

Hedge

Hedge

I hid behind a hedge,
So you wouldn't see me.
Then I hid behind another,
So you wouldn't catch me.

But the more I moved,
The more I noticed,
That you were moving,
Close to me.

Playing 'hedge' was a lot of fun,
Only if played by you,
Other than none.
