Helicopter Seeds Poem by Dallin Bruun

Helicopter Seeds

I pinched a handful of dried helicopter seeds
flipped them in the air
and watched them twirl to the ground

the evolution makes sense
a tree is more likely to survive
when it can spread its seed with an Air Force

but there's gotta be a funny story behind it
