Treasure Island

hasmukh amathalal

(17/05/1947 / Vadali, Dist: - sabarkantha, Gujarat, India)

Her voice echoes

Her voice echoes my ears
As if she is with me for years
I want something more to hear
I wish if she could spell without any fear

She encourages me for poetic environment
That is something like with special comments
There I find human touch in her approach
Naturally I am drawn towards her as such

I feel like to wear her smile
Walk with her for extra miles
Talk her about on many topics
Get to know her well with basics

She has angelic appearance
"Noor" means light to have come by chance
That is not simple one but divine
One may always look for and feel fine

She may gently respond with "thank you"
Yet I want to read those angelic lines and get through
She has an asset of lovely heart
That beats for skill as an art

She is moved when I say" I shall capture"
Those moments from her face for sure
"I feel flattered "she may exclaim with joy
I have lot more to feel than her to enjoy

Why some of the people ever lasting impression?
You find no excuses for their frank confession
They speak with whatever they have in mind
Pure beating at heart with thoughts very kind

I shall cherish her as simple woman
Woman of great ideals to walk with man
Man of her choice in long life journey
That may be the desire on her part and prayer to almighty

Poem of the Day

poet Emily Dickinson

"Arcturus" is his other name—
I'd rather call him "Star."
It's very mean of Science
To go and interfere!

I slew a worm the other day—
