I feel myself breaking
And falling down into
Nothing
I know my heart can’t take anymore
Crying is pointless but so is
Life

Yet here I stand
In front of your eyes
So paralyzed
Am I
And here you are
So close yet so
Out of
Reach

Ice cold blood
I feel it run through my
Veins
I hear it now
The sound so captivating
‘I’m here, I’m here’
I call into the
Dark
No response
Except the beat of my
Heart

Here I stand
On the edge of
Absolutely nothing
Yet here you are
Mouthing my name
Beckoning softly from the depths
Of the
Mist

A winding road
And a beaten
Path
My eyes scan
This land you call
Home
I see nothing to
Hold my attention
Nothing beautiful
To say the
Least
I see all the shadows
I watch them rise up
Out of your
Misery

Here I am
Rising to nothing
Yet calling to something
More
And here you stand
So close yet I can’t feel
You
So far away
And I’m touching
Nothing

Don’t look through
Me
Those lonely eyes
I long to fall in
I long to survive
I need to survive
