Here To Hold Me Poem by Heather Z. Hanna

Here To Hold Me

Rating: 0.5

Were you here to hold me and understand my grief.
To let my tears wash us both as your tears would join mine,
As we realize the depth of our joy and our pain.
We are in love, yet cannot fulfill it's potential.
For I cannot cause undeserved hurt to qualify my own desires.
Life has given us each other but keeps us apart,
For whatever lessons we must learn,
In this one and only life that we are given,
And it's sadness weighs heavily on my Heart.
