You took the step forward
I couldn't as i died there and then
You wish me the best hoping happiness would follow
Maybe for you but not for me trapped in sorrow.

Having a huge heart means i doesn't break
It shatters into irreplaceable pieces
The pain, the stuff of nightmares bring
Scars not the body
but the soul

The human dies and the fool stands
Grasping at straws desperately clinging to hope
Pandora weeps evermore
The curse still alive and awake
Another victim it claims its stake

The shadows dance and become your home
The jester marches forward
Dancing in light out of grasp
How you can only sit and watch
With the eyes blurred with tears

Thighs to your chest
You knees a place to rest your chin
A cold surrounds, yet u cannot feel
The next breath so far away
What's the point
Is this pain here to stay
