Hidden Poem by Belquis Barés

Hidden

Rating: 5.0

As wild little animals
The words got frightened:
Before your dreamed presence
Inflamed the landscape.

Foresters and firemen
Everywhere anticipated
Danger of imminent fire:
Ardent desire turned ember.

This fear did not stop it,
But another dread that she was silencing:
How to survive without your kisses
As soon as you have gone away?
