Hiding Within Poem by Kellie Milligan

Hiding Within

To balance the scales
Between right and wrong
In a tug of war
Between truth and lies
Balance is found
By loving
No matter how profound
And obscure
Between darkness and light
Making time weigh
Even
Eventually gets that way
Through actions given
And taken away
Fated balance
Karmic harmony
Kismet setting the stage
For us to pay the price
Not counting the cost
Despite what we've paid
Loving each other
Still
Now,
and Always
may we balance
each other
into tune
I rainbow you
Will you rainbow me
With waterfalls
On a rainy day
When the light shines
Through the tiny water drops
Just so
The rain bows
And light divides
Us and them
Once again
Proving
Truth in the telling
Rainbows are Real
And so is love
And so am I
won't you try
To believe
In something
Just one last time
Lay it on the line
And maybe you'll find
The gold at the end
Hiding within
Yourself

Very poignant piece. There is much wisdom hiding within this work, and your style is very engaging. Enjoyable to read; I will look forward to more of your work.
