Seize The Day Poem by Kellie Milligan

Seize The Day

I look over my shoulder
At the suffering green
The Venomous greed
Sucking clean

Owing nothing but costing more
Population in completion ignore
Smothered in ash and toxic debris
Parasites continue to breed

Growing faster impending disaster
We continue to feed
On the very heart
Of Our Everything

Leaving nothing gaining speed
Gia will someday succeed
A Breath of Fresh air
A bright beautiful day

Free of all Our deceit
Who once were Her children
Face her now with conclusion
That we Our killing
The very life we perceive

That once was given
Will be taken away
Gia will freeze Our human decay
Burning and melting pointing the way
To Eden

Seize the Day
