His Old Days Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

His Old Days

Rating: 5.0

His old days

I saw an old man
Totally dejected and lone
It envied interest'
I thought of asking his best days

"Dear grand" good evening
I come here daily for walking
I find no one to talk
Old love to listen to your jokes

Yes! Yes! Life has played cruel jokes
It was destiny's best stroke
I stood ground well
And now I can definitely tell

I saw shine in his eyes
He was ready to try
With his experience
And reveal it at once

No, I was young too
And saw terrible ups and down to pass through
But time separated us
Now time really troubles

Next day I found his absence
I became tense
I enquired about his presence
Someone told me about his departure with peace
