History Poem by Vera Sidhwa

History

Rating: 5.0

Napolean Bonaparte, the colonial British,
The ruled American Indians, the Japanese new one,
One mega-ego against another.
Chunks of land being affected.

People speaking different languages.
The history of this world.
When I stand forward,
But go backward, I see wars of nations go by.

Thing is it's nice to know,
And learn it's lessons.
And from it's tumultuous ones grow.
History has happened so.
