Marriage should be castle
built on solid foundation
Not on house of cards
that will fall apart
Before much I knew you
and you married me
Questions plainly are posed
Were you honest all the way
Did you tell all the truth
or is it too late now to know
Simply, have you ever lied to me
You said your ex you left her
She was not very faithful
and have cheated on you
Is this really true?
You said you will work hard
and make all that money
Now, your pay check does not last
Not even for one whole poor week
You relax on the couch and watch TV
Snacks, drinks and crunchy chips
So what else you have promised
and never in a moment came true
Look at the cracked mirror
Be truthful and tell me all
if you have lied much to me
