Hope Poem by fathima wasti

Hope

Rating: 4.0

like a rose in its full bloom
like the bright night of a full moon,
like grass with tiny dew drops,
like the harvest of the maize crops,
like the silver lining of a cloud,
like the cheering of a massive crowd,
like the spreading of the peacock wings
like the shine of the diamond rings
like rocks covered with slippery moss
like windows covered with winter frost
many beautiful ways of describing
hope has no definate meaning
it is just like a precious jewel
that helps us when life is cruel
so when travelling in a storm
a feeling arises which makes the heart warm
like ray of sunshine in darkness
begins a glow in your life of happiness
whenever bitter tears of pain you wiil cry
hope will always bring back your smile.

COMMENTS OF THE POEM

This remind me of my own poem on hope. It says the same thing sort of. This poem has the repetition device as memory, but I'm not sure this one will work as well. It is the kind of poem that must be recommended as well as not forgotten. I'm a little worried about it succeeding in that endeavor but we shall see. GW62
