Hope Poem by Kane Rodney

Hope

When the sun goes down and you are left in the dark
Your friends are gone so you can't have a lark,
You're all alone in the dark expanse of nowhere,
So cold you feel like stone and struggling for air
The flesh around your eyes is raw from tears
Your too numb to even feel fear.
You need to bare with the pain
And remember, washable is all stains
Whatever stain in life lead you on this downhill slope
The sun will always rise again, there is always hope.
