Horizon Poem by Rory slevin

Horizon

Rating: 5.0

Always and never the words that have a beginning but no ending
They are different the same used by people who don't understand the game
They know the world is bound by science
And that the last true heroes show great defiance
All the prophets from the last great past
Tell the story of forgotten glory
Of all the prophets none can match the knowledge of the world beneath our feet

For here on this rock we have history at our mercy
Every page and every footprint can be read can be said again
The Horizon will span over fiery sands through the coldest seas beyond the most distant lands
To rest upon all the hands of those who cant hear the truths that history has claimed

We must forever be on the edge of all
Where the fall will be required to see everything
To fall through all when we are so small
Leaves you open to relay to us that we already have everything that we all needed

Too much of a good thing is not bad it is impossible
Because the best things we had all along and are lost through pain and the hope for those long gone
Children show to those above who remember innocence, hope and an undying will
The end of the world is but the start The Horizon goes on and on until it is at the end of time
And only here will all be lost in the eternal rhyme that beats now and forever out of time

Some mysteries are best left unsolved
Those that have the easiest explanations
Are the ones that should be left alone
To escape the Horizon that shall always roam
