House Of Splendour Poem by Naveed Akram

House Of Splendour

From each eye is a house of splendour,
From each face a combination of numbness.
Why fight along the expressions of time?
Where is my burden for the brotherhood?

From pain a substance fears the others like spice,
Fraught with difficulty a man is sitting to empower
The proud nature of his people and settlement,
A fire is tormenting his heart as doors swing around.

This world wets the lips with alcohol and action,
In this world a pipe is attempted like a murder of men;
This is the resultant force, these are sinners of life,
So death is chastising the feelings of gasping men.

For each eye a splendid mansion is compared,
For each ear a reading is being bought with good gold.
What is your desire and lust of the people in this
Settlement of truth and happiness, shining like stars?
