How Do You Treat Your Father Poem by Queen Jane

How do you treat your father?
Do you treat your father the way you treat God?
Do you talk to him just when you need something?
Or do you talk to him only when he calls?
And even then are you too busy for him.
Do you manage to take down the walls?
Or is it about only what’s convenient for you?
And then the talk goes on and on.
When your not being the main topic, then how the conversation falls.
Do you tell him thanks without being prompted?
Wouldn’t it be nice if you did.
Now, tell me, do you really love him?
Or is asking you this putting you out on a limb?
Now think of what I’m suggesting,
Do you treat your father the way you treat God?
Take your time to consider, this question should not be so hard.
