How Nice Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

How Nice

How nice

I could do nothing
He was young
My love
I believed in him

He died young
For doing wrong
Going in dangerous line
Otherwise everything was fine

I do not know
He had confusion to go
No direction but simple logic
Life cannot remain static

He chose me
Held my hand under tree
Promised everything on land
Truly behaved as friend

I saw him dying
But not with lies single times
He was in deep emotions
For me he had no questions

I saw him dead
I could read
But alas! If I could save
How nicely he behaved up to an end?
