The entry for the contest by Poet Jayne Louise Davis was posted on the 21st January, as PoemHunter records show. Within the deadline fixed by Kim. Though, we were able to detect it only now. So, I take it as eligible entry. I searched for it through the last night. Except for the comments by Kim and Belle, I wouldn't have found it. Thanks to all. Thus there are five entries: that of
1) Kim Barney
2) Cowboy Ron Williams
3) Bri Edwards
4) Belle Wassermeister
5) Jayne Louise Davies
I tried to rank the five entries in Poetic quality, Rhyme Scheme and humour. Although the contest was not officially for Limericks (and that is why adherence to meter is not considered mandatory) , I settle for the humour integral to this form of poetry.
Based on these parameters, in my wisdom, the poem by Kim Barney stands tall and apart from others. The poem by Belle Wassermeister comes a close second.

Would love to read their contest entries....share them please.
They are shared on PoemHunter. I will try to share the link. Thank you
I have gone through all the entries and it was real fun to read read them(How the poets view /project themselves in interesting way) Full marks to all our dear poets.
Thank you, Bharati. I think, we need to have such "contests" which will add to the fun. Our fellow poets have been often sharing riddles, good

Hi Bri, you are right and you need not ask Kim. But, how did you find out?
I had posted a rejoinder to the post by Cowboy Ron Williams here. But it has vanished. Can PoemHunter help us?
This poem has not been translated into any other language yet.
