How They Glisten In The Moon Poem by Mark Ramirez

How They Glisten In The Moon

Oh how they glisten in the moon, your eyes.
What I would do just to make you mine.
I've laid awake for an entire fortnight,
Just thinking I could be your shining knight.

Oh how it flows in the wind, your hair.
Not seeing you never seems fair.
I've followed it all day, the dove,
Just to see you, my only love.

Though it may take many summers days,
It is worth seeing your beautiful gaze.
To hold you close and to my heart,
Will make my heart beat faster than a dart.

What I would do to be with you,
Through my troubles, you pull me from the blue.
You hold me tight to keep me sane,
And I hold you tighter to ensure the same.

I'm crazy in love and I know it.
My love is for you and I will show it.
I swear that this will always be true:
I will always and only love you.
