Hurry-Hurry-Hurry
Hurry-hurry-hurry...
Hurry is the word I hate
hasten I dislike
everyone is always running, is this our fate
no one walks like a decent pike,
what a mess what a sorrow!
Why can't they do more peaceful
do it calm, do today not tomorrow
please be patient, to you all I'll be thankful
They say: Time is money
is it: No time so no money?
Or: I have no money, so am I in a hurry?
or: plenty of money, I take my time, honey
Hurry-hurry-hurry I hate
money-money-money is my fate
then slowly-slowly-slowly
under a huge pile of money
Hurry is the word I hate
hasten I dislike
now you need not walk and hurry it's late
please for God's sake, take a decent bike

FANTASTIC! The title and the fascinating opening lines just drew me to read this marvelous write. You nailed it, Sylvia. Such a wonderful and meaningful message for each and everyone living in this materialistic world.
Thank you so much, Mrs. Juan-Austin, I just knew how to find the responses on my poems and that's why before this period I could not give my responses to the feedbacks, comments en compliments given on all my poems. I sound so stupid, but IF I did not know yet, then I cannot say my thankfulness to the poets who have visited my poem site. Now I already know, it looks so easy,

now you need not walk and hurry it's late please for God's sake, take a decent bike yes, everyone seems to be in a hurry, people don't stop to smell the roses, too busy smelling the coffee at Starbucks. I guess everyone rushes in every country now a days. Happy Birthday dear friend!
