Hurt Poem by Naomi Rubinstein

Hurt

I’m hurt
I’m crying
And it’s all you’re fault
Shouldn’t have said those things to me

This is the one mistake you should have never made

Did you not understand
That you may have pierced
The very soul I withhold

I’m screaming
I’m dying
And you are to blame
Never should have trusted you

This is the one mistake you should have never made

A cruel being you are
Can you hear me
Can you see me?

I’m broken
I’m bleeding
And the blame is on you
In my mind you are trapped

This is the one mistake you should have never made

Encased in the anger I feel
Trapped inside this nightmare
But this time you will be the one hurting inside

Do you know how hurt I am
Soon you will
As soon as I can trap you in this nightmare I confide
