Hurting

My head hurts because of these headaches
I keep turning back and forth because of the stomachache
There is pain going through my body
Even in my heart is hurting and all they can say is sorry

It seems that noone can help me which they really can't
The hurting keeps on getting worse
All I did was sank
I keep thinking that I am cursed

I thought I found someone which i really didn't
All he does is beat me and treat me bad
Then im in the corner sitting
I begin to cry because im always sad

I feel like i want to die
All I ever do is sigh
I always keep getting hurt
and all I ever do is wonder why

Hi Alicia, like Dave said, it is “a very sad but beautiful poem”. I can relate with the part where you say you feel like you are cursed. I believe that sadness is an important part of our lives as humans but I also believe that we can also get lost in it. So what I say to you is that you must cry if you need to, lough when you get the chance but don’t get soaked in misery any longer than you have to. Oh and the last thing is, get rid of your boyfriend if he is the one hurting you and don’t look back (Report) Reply

A very sad but beautiful poem. My mother
Went through hell with my dad, so i do know
How you feel. Read my poem called boy to a man,
To see how it ended. (Report) Reply

poet Helen Hunt Jackson

The month of carnival of all the year,
When Nature lets the wild earth go its way,
And spend whole seasons on a single day.
The spring-time holds her white and purple dear;
