I am the beating of your heart
when your to afraid to move
I am the sudden stillness in the air
when all around you is quiet
I am the unknown
that haunts your nightmares
I am the dreams that keep you up all night
tossing and turning
I am the voices in your head
that tells you to do it
I am the knife that penetrates
through the soft flesh
I am the scream
that uses her last breath
I am the blood
that drips to the floor
I am the reason you wake up screaming
