If the person is white
Then they are all right,
If the person is black
I'll always have their back,
If the person is yellow
They are my type of fellow,
And if the person is red
Happily with them I will break bread.
We all are of different races
We all have different faces
Indeed we all are birds of a different feather
Let's sit and pray together
If the person is a bigot
I will turn them off like a spigot,
If the person is a racist
I will see them only as abrasive,
If the person is a terrorist
I see them only as nefarious,
If the person is greedy
I think of all of those who are needy.
I'm will not argue and fight
But, the Bible I will recite,
To judge is not my mission
As I am a true Christian
If the person does cheat and lie
I will always ask them why,
If the person steals and is a thief
I will ask them their belief,
If the person never does apologize
I won't see truth or honesty in their eyes,
If the person always judges
I will not hold no grudges,
If the person talks about drama
It won't put me in a trauma,
If the person does constantly sin
I will pray, and then I will give them an amen.
If the person is Islam
Of course I will listen and be calm,
If the person is a Buddhist
I won't ever be a feudist,
If the person isJewish
I will not ever be shrewish,
And if the person happens to be Hindu
I will happily listen to them too,
If the person is an atheist
Him I will not hate or detest
To any belief or religion I will listen
But, I am still a Christian.
