I am the heart wrenching breath that leaves your throat,
maybe next time you'll think before you gloat.
I am the piercing scream cutting through the air,
allowing terror to latch onto the nape of your hair.
I am the tremors raking through your bones,
causing your legs to freeze as if you were a statue made of stone.
I am the stare you feel on the back of your head,
watching as you sleep from underneath your precious bed.
I am the pee that travels down your pants leg,
dropping you to your knees as you beg.
I am the tears streaming down your face,
maybe next time you'll learn to remember your place.
I am....fear.
