I Am Happy Poem by Traveler waiting for the paths to cross again

I am happy and satisfied with the life I am living.....
Loving and caring husband I have and the family so care free.

She used to chat, she used to call....
And I've seen the eagerness in you to take the call...
Probably that was my blind faith in you that you took me for granted...
or something was lacking in me instead.

Then I thought, if her company makes you feel comfortable....
Let it be...I will learn living with her in your thoughts...
I too started chatting with her in a hope to find...
the attributes she has but I lack.

I couldn't find an answer...
Rather, a little doubt I had in my mind...
that she is just a friend...
is now gone.

I could have accepted her...
Had you told me the truth...
But you kept lying one after the other...
And wanted me to believe it all.

That day she thanked me for accepting your relationship with her...
I thought I'll ask you if...
I still had a ray of hope...
But you confirmed by saying so what.

For you, it was normal to have a friend...
whom you talk to...
Day and night...
at home and at work place...
At every hour...
and EVERYTHING.

May be my perception was wrong,
May be I had narrow outlook.
My ultra positive attitude is still with me,
I still have the hope....
