By birth I am Hindu,
People say
Without my consent.

People say,
Some are Hindus,
Some are Muslims,
Some are Christians,
So on and so on.
But I know
All are human beings,
All are men and women of
This earth.
All are made of earth,
All are going to die,
All are eating, sleeping
And doing something
To kill time.
And people say
All are living.

All are eating,
All are living
And all are dying
Every day here
On this earth.
Anyway,
I love a man,
Some say
He is a Mulsim.
And as you know sir,
Love does not see
Or care or differentiate
Hindu or Muslim or Christians.
Life does not wait
For any group or sect.

Yes I have married
To a man and not
A beast or animal
Or bird or ghost.
I have married a man,
Full of humanity, love and care.
The man I married is
Peaceful in nature,
His principle is live
And let live.

Dear all,
When I want to go
Temple to pray
Some debar me.
I objected,
But they are engrossed
With blind-faith.

I knock the court of justice
And the court pleased to allow me
To enter the temple.
I also got the judgement,
But no use.

What to do?
This is the society we live in.
What to do?
I want now
Not to goanywhere
But to stay
Under this sky
On this earth.
I care not any boundary
Of so-called country,
I care not the rules and regulations
Of any organisations
That is there to put a bar
On my right, the natural right
To live and eat and pray.

I am a human being,
Humanity is everything to me.
