I Am Undone Poem by Corrina Kavea

I Am Undone

Should they devastate my flesh
let no agony furrow my brow

Should my life's-blood drip dry
like a lamb to slaughter

And leave my carcass
with no breath

Toward my God shall
my one soul drain

I have no fear
this valley disdained.

This prison full of strife
They accept not what i give

It's never enough
Consume my all til I'm dust

They flatter my need to be loved
And devour me in their lust

I am undone.
