I Am Waiting Poem by Samuel Braden

It is my choice to hold this and keep as long as I can
Having this with me does not make me less a man
I can still do all the things that you do and have fun
As long as I don't jeopardize my wait for the one

In case you wonder it's my virginity that I still hold
I'm saving it for the one with a heart of gold
Even though I am a man I can still get hurt
That is why I am waiting for the one that it's worth

I want to love her with all my heart and with her the same
But then I'm still gonna save it till she has my last lame
This is my choice that I am gonna never gonna turn
This is one lesson from God that I have learned
