I Belong Poem by Vera Sidhwa

I Belong

You see I belong
Nowhere.
I belong to me
But the world poses a problem with that.

I meditated hard
But still couldn't find
The real me, one of a kind.
I just could not find.

I ran the fastest race
Of my lifetime.
I wanted to be first
But alas I couldn't be.

I did meditate again.
My spiritual me blossomed.
I started aspiring
To the Highest who was God
