I Bow To You, O Teachers Of Life! Poem by Manoshi Sinha

I Bow To You, O Teachers Of Life!

On this day, every moment, every day,
I revere you, cherishing fond memories.

From the darkness of the tranquil womb,
To the first kiss by the universe;
From the first cuddle of strong fondness,
To infinite chapters of nurture and toil;
I have grown each day under your grace
I laugh, I cry, I breathe, I live;
I bow to you, O mother! O father!

The first step at the kingdom of knowledge;
Where you nurtured me, fostered me
With the wisdom of the universe;
The life I live, the livelihood I savor
Are but the showering of your blessings,
Of your love, of your teachings, of your sacrifice;
I bow to you, O teachers at the academy!

When life gives me hundreds of reasons,
To smile, to rejoice, to laugh, to be bouncy;
And equally hundreds of reasons,
To be melancholy, to cry, to be forlorn;
You have always stood by me
Through thick and thin, through everything;
I bow to you, O siblings! O in-laws! O friends!

Exalted are the souls, who are blessed,
By parents, by teachers, by siblings, by friends,
I bow to you all, my teachers! I bow to the world! !
