I CAN ENDURE
I was a child who followed,
No matter what you'd do.
I'd never put my foot down,
Nor to myself be true.
Then something happened, I said,
'I've grown wings, I want to fly'
And when you turned away from me,
I thought that I would die......
But soon a new day brightened
And my Sun began to shine
For I found that even without you,
My life... would be just fine.
I'd climb up to my highest dreams,
My fantasies to ensure
For I know that now, through anything,
Alone..... I can endure!
