I Can Still Do Without You Poem by Hesbon Nyamweya

I Can Still Do Without You

Rating: 5.0

You burnt my wings and shattered my dream.....
When i gave you my all and you made me your host.....
You made susceptible and syphoned my esteem.....
So my heart freezed and my love you lost.....
Your actions are cold like i'm worth less of a team...
Though we both know i can still do without you.

This wounded and cracked heart will soon heal....
Continue making me an option but for you i wont kneel.....
Maybe trapped in your web but tomorrow nothing i'll feel......
I'll untie and weaken this bond and make you my past.....
Then move on coz trust me you'll not be my last....
Since i'm stronger and can do without you.

You pressume i'm rained on and can't move my feet.....
I'm neither a vagabond nor waif in the street.....
Your betrayal is no more big deal and i'm set to leave....
So dont sleep on my acuity thinking i'm naive.....
Like a coin i gave you love so does hatred you'll receive.....
Since over you i've grown and can still do without you.

I can no longer live in insomnia coz of your cold shoulder.....
Neither bleat coz my heart is no longer tender.....
You hang my neck like a christmasgoat........
Then expect me inn like you're all the earth got.....
Listen i'm over quetching and flashed you off the loo....
Coz i'm now sailing my own ship and i can still do without you.END
