Tears Of The Orphans Poem by Hesbon Nyamweya

Tears Of The Orphans

Rating: 5.0

In the mention of parents, we curse the universe....
We swallow our tears, coz fate we cant reverse......
Who will take us home for holiday.....
When life has selfishly taken them away.....
We drown in disconnection and stress...
And life become complicated like a game of chess.

We weep blood, blood that runs in our vein....
It forces its way leaving nothing but pain.....
We are the copy of despair and tattered clothes....
Possessing boldness and light spirited like froath.....
Some live in the dark corners of the street.......
In discontent we neither quetch nor bleat.

We circle in emotions of depression and suicide.....
Orphanage or mean guadians, where do we reside.....
Our meals and education is never a guarantee......
Therefore being successful is never a cup of tea.....
The weak resort in prostitution and crime....
Others thrive and positively adapt with time.END
