The Gift Of Eden Poem by Hesbon Nyamweya

The Gift Of Eden

Rating: 3.0

She' a Regal Queen in her marriage...
She wakes first and sleeps last and still manage....
With many challange she still push on with courage...
She weeps then smile in the dreary pain of miscourage...
A persistance being who never get discouraged...
Shes a wife, a mother and the gift of Eden.

She loose it all in the face of beauty...
When her face wither in 9 months of pregnancy...
And almost give up her breath in the delivery....
She set pace in her children first walk....
Then put first word in their tongue to talk....
She is a special gift of Eden.

How do you take hardship and still smile....
You're dumped with kids and still stride a mile....
You are like a sailing ship collecting food from the sea....
Then gives your family pride for generations to see...
You are your kid's nest and husband's haven....
A weak vessel but a precious content of Eden.

She's like a blossom tree that confirms the soil's fertility......
A foundation of a family and the pillar of its stability....
A crown that separates men from boys....
The image of her children and her husband's voice....
She's a founded link of procreation from heaven....
A lover, a friend and the gift of Eden.End.(Dedicated to my mother Pamela Akinyi)
