I cannot easily fathom why I love you
The way that I do, my dearest Minou
It is not because you're ravishingly attractive
It's not because you're extremely active
It's not because of your obvious classy style
And it's not for your exceedingly gorgeous smile
I simply love you because you are the one
Who can make me happy, because the weapon
Is you, you are the scalpel who can dissect
Every tiny pieces of my heart, you protect
It with your kisses and you can put all back
Together, like new every time. You're my rock
My soul mate, my lily, and my angel, and my love
I can go on and on. That's why I place you above
Everything that I can imagine. That's true, I can't fathom
Why I admire you so much, because you're my kingdom
My joie de vivre, my idol, my hope, and my dear friend
Also because you don't give up on me, and you extend
Your silky hands to me, you kiss me all over all the time
And you share your happiness and your sorrow with me
Sometimes, you give me hell, and you share your dime
Your fears, your worries, your days and nights with me
Oh! After emptying my heart and soul, I can fathom why
I can realize how much you mean to me, I simply cry.
