I Care Not For These Ladies Poem by Andile Nozibusiso Mtshali

I Care Not For These Ladies

Rating: 2.5

There is a garden in her face
That no beauty could ever replace.
Her smell is always sweet,
It makes me want to bow to her feet.

Her laugh is as free as the eagles’ flight.
It feels my heart with delight.
My hurt, sorrow and pity, her heart can move
For it can never defeat her love.

She is worth more than money can buy.
For this, I never dream of making her cry.
In her eyes it is where the lilies grow,
Her heart is as pure as snow.

There is a garden in her face
That no beauty can replace.
I pray that her heart I do not break,
Hence of this we must never speak.

All I know is her name
Ever since the day that she came.
And this I speak is the truth,
I will love her beyond my youth.

Life is not only the emotion, some reality is there. So, try to face the reality behind the name.
