I Crush A Lot

Rating: 5.0

I crush a lot,
and burn and cry,
My tapered tongue,
My swollen eyes
For love is elixir,
A language to fix er,
these wavering strands
Of emotional
Miscommunication
I quiver at doors,
waiting for the hum of your engine
The sweet satisfied lull,
Of a man,
Busy with time,
You are arithmetic
to this jigsaw mind,
A door swings open,
Foreign am i
to such feelings
A horse with no reigns
Bucking, and circling,
Heated, exotic,
eager to break silence
Watermelon words,
slide down my throat,
Heart stops beating
and head it floats,
I crush a lot,
For the man,
in the white van,
With the amber eyes,
and the head that dips
low,
I was a woman
With too much control,
