I cry
I cry for the children that are homeless
I cry for the brave men on the frontline that left their families behind,
I cry endlessly for the mothers that have lost their children,
I cry for the nations that are brutalized with ethnicity
I cry for the ignorant citizens who are exploited daily
I cry for every sin and sinners
I cry for the day weapons were invented,
I cry for the First World War which sparked the second.
I cry for those who slept yesterday on an empty stomach.
But mostly I cry for those “not promised tomorrow”.
After reading this very moving piece-I want to do nothing but cry! Great write! God bless those who suffer-MJG.
I love your poem. Basicly you say that you cry for everyone because no one is promised a tomorrow. Great Write Britney
