I Cry Often Poem by Arun Maji

I cry often.
It is not that I am sad or blue,
I cry because I want to cry.

Crying is beautiful.
It cleanses my heart,
And untangles my soul
Crushed under mountain called human pain.

Who has no pain?
Pain is born together with life.
As life grows
Pain grows too.

Human pain must be expressed
Otherwise, it would stifle heart
And torture soul.

Tears is like sacred River of Ganges.
It cleanses stinking wound
Caused by imprisoned pain.

This is why I must cry.
And I do.
I do it often.
