I'D Be A Better Me Poem by Stefanie rodriguez

I'D Be A Better Me

I have friends i can call and vent to.
Listen to their voice shake as i explain the feeling of having my body being a venue,
And my private parts a valet.
I could get high off their sympathy as i listen to their simple lies,
They'd comfort me,
Or at least try to.
I'd let them tap dance all over my mind.
They'd paint pictures of the worlds simple side i have yet to see.
They'd have me drooling as i pretend that that's me.
I'd be the girl with a perfect life,
The girl that's the perfect size.
I'd have no enemies,
No woe, no strife.
I'd be a better me!
I wouldn't break so easily,
I wouldn't scream in a daydream or shake from a memory.
Instead i write.
I remain FRAGILE!
Keep their minds far from boggled.
Even those who know me.
If i told them it all they'd be startled, stunned.
I have friends i can call and vent to,
But my papers better for all our mentals..
