I desire compassion,
For life has been messy
And it makes me crazy,
But with Your mercy
There will be a redress.

I desire health
For life seems to melt
And it takes my wealth,
But with Your help
I will be well

I desire discretion
For life has been without intension,
And it saps my passion.
But with Your correction
I will have direction.

I desire understanding
For life is undermining
And it rocks my landing
But with Your hand
I will be standing



I desire success
For life seems blocked from access,
And it slows my pace,
But with Your grace
I will make the race

I desire intelligence.
For life’s demands are intense.
And it stretches my diligence.
But with Your excellence,
I will rise to prominence.
